The probe forms the heart of every coordinate measuring machine. It generates the signals during probing. With their high accuracy and repeatability they are specially matched to the dynamics of moving bridge, horizontal arm and gantry coordinate measuring systems.

TESASTAR-i M8


The TESASTAR-i M8 has the same functional characteristics as the TESASTAR-i. The difference is that the TESASTAR-i M8 can accept all probes and accessories with an M8 connection.

TESASTAR-m


This fully motorized, highly accurate probe head is the universal system component for use with any multicoordinate measuring machine, whatever the model or manufacturer. The kinematic joint allows it to be used with TESA probe extension bars up to 300 mm long. The TESASTAR-m is connected to the electronic unit TESASTAR-e, which is controlled by the measurement software.

TESASTAR-m M8


The TESASTAR-m M8 is fully automated and controlled by the measurement software. The M8 threaded connection means this probe head is compatible with any accessory of the same type and does not require an adapter.

TESASTAR-sm


TESASTAR-sm is a fully motorised probe head that offers excellent positional repeatability. The indexing capability in increments of 5° allows the probe head to rotate through to 180° as well as angles ranging from +90° to -115° to be reached. The total number of positions is as high as 2,952. Being compactly sized, this probe head can directly be fitted on the Z-axis (65 or 80 mm square section) of nearly all existing CMMs, thus resulting in a noticeable volume increase.
